Suzette

This revisited recipe for the "Crêpe Suzette", one of the most famous classics of French cuisine, consists of a fluffy crêpe with crispy edges, topped with beurre suzette (a butter and caramelized sugar sauce), slices of citrus fruit (mandarin or orange), zest and Grand Marnier or Curaçao.
 
Or opt for the original Crêpes Suzette recipe, made with crêpes, orange juice and zest sauce, butter, sugar and Grand Marnier. The dessert can be made with or without flambé. The original recipe was an unflamed dessert.
Traditional or revisited, the Crêpe Suzette continues to delight gourmets.

    In fact, in 1897, Joseph, pastry chef at the Paris restaurant Le Marivaux, often delivered crêpes to the Comédie-Française. Seduced by Suzanne Reichenberg, he affectionately called them "crêpes Suzette" in tribute to the artist.
